Just when you thought dual SIM handsets were crazy enough, here comes Intex with its first triple SIM handset. The company has launched its latest handset known as the IN 5030 in India. The phone can take two GSM cards and a CDMA SIM and thereby offers you seamless connectivity over three different networks!

It looks like any other handset and the features aren't mind boggling either - except for the triple SIM part, that is. The phone comes with a 2-inch TFT screen capable of displaying 65k colors. It has a Mobile Tracker software and an auto call record facility too. Other features include a dual LED torch light, a very usable 1.3 MP camera, webcam option, Bluetooth with A2DP, wireless FM radio, audio and video player. For those hooked to the mobile Internet, there is full GPRS and WAP support. The IN 5030 also comes loaded with an Indian calendar. The internal memory can be expanded upto 4 GB.

Priced at Rs. 4,700, this one seems to be a great entry level handset for those who can't keep three phones with them at one time.

This, however, is not the first triple SIM handset in the world. That claim can be made by a company called QiiQ from Dubai who had a triple SIM handset ready back in 2009!
